Your adviser prepares, calculates and files. But there are things only you can do:
- Provide complete information on time.
- Report changes: new activity, premises, partners, investments…
- Review and approve before filing.
- Keep enough cash for the payments.
And a fact worth remembering: before the tax office, the taxpayer is always the person liable, even if the return is filed by their adviser.
The difference between “having it done for me” and “working with my adviser” shows in the results… and in the scares avoided.
At AP Asesores we prefer informed clients: they understand their numbers and make better decisions.
Legislation: arts. 35 and 46 of Law 58/2003, General Tax Act (taxpayers and representation).
